Psychotherapist and Social Worker

Kate is a psychotherapist and social worker with over 14 years experience working in the social services sector.
Kate completed a double degree in Arts and Social Sciences, with Honours at the University of Western Australia and Curtin University, specialising in gender based studies.
Kate completed her Masters of Social Work at Deakin University, specialising in critical social work practice. Kate has achieved Accredited Mental Health Social Worker status with the AASW. Kate has particular expertise working with complex trauma, domestic, family and sexual abuse, BPD and attachment disorders.
I am passionate about supporting those who have experienced violence, providing a safe and supportive space to explore their emotions and develop healthy coping strategies.
I have also pursued my passion for mental health continually seeking to expand my knowledge and skills in this area recently completing my Graduate Diploma in Mental Health.
